Provides small groups and activities that are designed to empower youth to support and influence their club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, and develop a positive self-image. Offers programming in the areas of character and leadership development, health and life skills, education and career development, the arts, sports, and recreation and fitness.

Provides restorative interventions for youth and youthful offenders involved with the juvenile justice system, at risk of becoming involved with the juvenile justice system, and/or truant. Aims to decrease risk factors and strengthen protective factors in order to reduce or eliminate further involvement in the system.

Provides a confidential crisis hotline and online services to call, chat, or email. Offers solution-focused crisis intervention, referrals to local resources, education, and prevention assistance for youth and families. Services include youth-initiated Conference Calls, which facilitates a call between the youth and their family or a helping agency; Home Free, which offers a free bus ticket home or to an alternate living arrangement; and Message Service, which takes messages from parents that the National Runaway Safeline (NRS) will deliver to the youth if they choose to call the hotline to check for messages.

Covers the costs, up to a certain dollar amount, for professional services and related costs for a simple burial or cremation for a deceased individual. Payment is made directly to the funeral home.

Provides preventive health care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of illnesses. Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, immunizations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Pediatric primary care is staffed by specialists who are concerned with the physical, emotional and social health of infants, children and adolescents from birth to young adulthood. Provides onsite integrated health services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities.

Provides three developmentally appropriate school-based child sexual abuse prevention programs. Helps children develop self-esteem, communication skills, positive attitudes toward sexuality and gender, and an understanding of body boundaries.

Offers a home visit to provide information on emergency preparedness including development of a family disaster plan, and suggesting changes in the home to increase fire resistance. May provide and install smoke alarms at no cost to eligible individuals.

Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs.

Provides registration renewal "express services" online, at participating town clerks' offices, and at DMV kiosks within some branch offices. Services provided include: Vehicle Registration Renewal, Duplicate Registration Certificate, and Change of Address. Kiosks also offer Replacement Vehicle Registration.

Provides a webpage with a map of Vermont divided into towns. Each town is color-coded to indicate which Solid Waste Management District (SWMD) covers that town. The key to the map provides the phone numbers for all the SWMDs. The website itself (as well as individual SWD websites) contains important information about hazardous waste disposal, including how to properly dispose of such items as computers, tires, and batteries. The website also provides detailed information about Act 148, Vermont's Universal Recycling Law, which covers how to comply with the law's requirements on how to dispose of plastic, paper, yard debris, clean wood, food scraps, and other organic materials.

Promotes volunteerism and assists with finding volunteer opportunities in the community. Provides an online interactive volunteer opportunities match/referral page where individuals who would like to volunteer in their communities can find listing of opportunities and where agencies and organizations seeking volunteers can post volunteer opportunities. During times of regional disasters or emergencies provides information intended to help everyone in their communities get to the resources they need quickly and efficiently.

Provides youth employment services that include vocational testing and assessment to help identify skills, talents and experience; career guidance to help plan and map out a career strategy; tutoring and study skills training; summer employment opportunities; paid work experience including internships and job shadowing; leadership development opportunities; and support services to help overcome employment barriers.

Manages water and air quality, regulates solid and hazardous wastes, and administers a number of voluntary pollution and waste reduction programs. Program also provides environmental permit information and assistance, business and municipal compliance assistance, a number to call to report hazardous materials spills, and an Environmental Enforcement Division, which takes complaints regarding potential violations of Vermont's environmental laws. Also offers sampling of drinking water, well tests, and other resources during water-related emergencies.

Provides assistance for people who need housing including information and guidance about rental costs; how to select affordable housing that meets individual needs; and how to provide for insurance, utility costs, and other requirements related to paying for housing. Coordinates with other providers in the community to help individuals and families obtain or maintain housing. May offer limited financial assistance with rent, rental deposit, and other payments. Also provides the Rent Right Program, designed to provide participants with the skills, materials, and confidence necessary to find and maintain stable housing. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a Preferred Renter Certificate, which shows landlords that they have made an investment into being a good tenant.

Offers a safe and fun place for youth in the community to spend time. The Hub provides games, food, art, activities, programs, and more.

Sells new and gently used furniture, building supplies, appliances, tools, and home improvement products. Accepts donations of vehicles, boats, RVs. Proceeds help to fund area Habitat for Humanity of Rutland County VT projects.

Works to reduce the over-population of unwanted cats by stabilizing barn cat colonies and reducing the number of free-roaming cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Organizes humane trapping of unowned and loosely owned cats from farms, outbuildings, and the streets; provides spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and needed medical care; and returns them to their original environment or partners with other agencies that place adoptable animals in appropriate homes. Also provides periodic spay/neuter clinics.

Assists individuals with finding local resources.

Provides a full range of supportive services for individuals with a limited life expectancy and their families. Also provides comprehensive palliative and support care to individuals in need of pain and other symptom management, whether or not they have a life limiting illness. Provides bereavement support services that include individual grief counseling and/or support groups.

Provides monthly cash assistance to low-income households in which a person's care or services are essential to an elderly or disabled person's remaining in his or her home. Benefit can be directly deposited into a bank account, or put onto an EBT card.

Provides new and/or used household goods. Thrift shop proceeds fund the work of Women of Wisdom.

Responsible for licensing, certification, registration, and disciplinary matters for various professions. Provides a list of those professions that includes their requirements. Also offers an online form to register complaints.

Provides money management counseling services that include credit counseling, debt counseling, personalized budgeting, credit report education, bankruptcy counseling, and financial literacy training.

Provides a telephone and/or face-to-face response to individuals in crisis. This service offers an immediate intervention and suicide prevention response by mental health counselors and connects individuals to resources that best fit the needs of their particular situations. Within the First Call program there are specialized services such as crisis case management, crisis respite, support services when a tragic event impacts a child, as well as Safety Net, an urgent response service for families impacted by incarceration. First Call also provides education, support, and "Gatekeeper Training" to community providers to promote prompt and appropriate response to mental health crises.
