Provides tax information and assistance with tax filing preparation and e-filing of federal and state income tax returns, as well as assistance with filing for renters' rebates and homestead declarations at three locations. Also provides services for those filing basic self-employment returns (sole proprietors who do not carry inventory or depreciation).

Assists people with persistent psychiatric difficulties to live in the community by offering individual and group counseling, service coordination and outreach, crisis intervention services, medication management, and employment services.

Makes available certified child passenger safety technicians who provide free child safety seat inspections at various permanent locations throughout Vermont, as well as occasional mobile sites. Inspections include checking for correct fit of the car seat to the child, proper installation of the car seat in the vehicle, and screening for car seat recalls. The child and the child’s safety seat must be present to receive personal instruction on proper installation and use. The website lists the locations that provide regularly scheduled and by-appointment child safety seat checks by county, as well as mobile site inspection events. Free car seats are available to income-eligible households.

Provides Work Incentives Counselors who can help individuals decide whether to work, keep necessary benefits while they work, and avoid work/benefits conflicts. The program is also available to youth in high school who are in transition to adult life. Youth and their families can receive accurate information about the impact of employment on all Federal and State benefits they receive. Provides the Vermont Work/Benefits Helpline.

Provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient care and 24-hour emergency care. Services include 24-hour physician staffed emergency room services, diagnostic imaging, general medical and surgical services, lab testing, blood supply services, hospital-based outpatient services, disease specific treatment, pain management, and adult and children's services.
