Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Individuals pick out food based on household size. Also provides Thanksgiving turkeys. Delivery service is available for individuals who are unable to get to the food shelf in person.

Provides confidential consultations by trained professional case managers who can provide assistance with planning and arranging for support services. Assessments are provided both in home or pre-dismissal from hospitals or rehabilitation centers to determine eligibility for a variety of programs including Medicaid, SSI, food stamps, fuel assistance, housing, transportation, state pharmacy assistance programs, Lifeline telephone credit, respite and in-home services. Provides assistance with filling out forms for submission. Case managers also work with the VA in assisting veterans with applying for the Veterans Independence Program.

Provides victims of sexual assault with access to a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) and, if they wish, a Victim Advocate. SARCs and Advocates are not counselors or licensed clinicians, but are a confidential resource specialists. SARCs and Advocates will explain military reporting options available to the victim and connect them to appropriate medical, behavioral health, legal, spiritual, and financial resources available through the military.

Each person on Reach Up works with a case manager to create a Family Development Plan. Benefits paid through direct deposit or EBT card. Child-Only Reach Up provides cash assistance to help eligible adults care for the minor, dependent children of relatives or family friends. Reach First helps families overcome temporary, short-term financial crises and avoid the need for longer-term assistance, providing case management, financial help, and support services. Reach Ahead helps families transition from Vermont's Reach Up or Post-Secondary Education (PSE) programs to working, with supports to help maintain a job, including cash incentives for working and help paying for car repairs, work clothes, and work supplies, a 100% childcare subsidy, and a cash benefit for food.

Offers a variety of health and wellness programs that offer individual and/or group sessions which assist participants to understand how their lifestyle impacts their physical and mental health and to develop personal practices that enhance their total well-being. Wellness programs are subject to change.

Provides licenses to establishments that prepare and serve food or offer lodging to the public for more than one day a month. Provides information about Vermont restaurant and lodging rules. The establishments licensed by VDH include, but are not limited to, restaurants, delis, bakeries, seafood vendors, food caterers, fair stands, B&Bs, children's camps, grocery stores, and hotels. Accepts complaints about restaurant sanitation, as well as reports of possible food poisoning.

Provides a drop-in community center that offers opportunities to socialize and to access support for help with acquiring supported employment, access to education and housing, peer support, and opportunities to explore holistic health and wellness. Also provides packed meals to go. During the winter months, the center offers extended hours to provide a warm space for individuals to congregate until the overnight shelter opens its doors.

Provides support, resource referrals, and services to military personnel of all seven branches and their families. Services include camp for kids, retreats for families, scholarships for spouses, and advocacy.
