Genetic tests may be used to establish whether a predisposition to some types of familial cancer exists. Participation in confidential research studies designed to learn more about familial cancer available to those interested. Assists caregivers in accessing supportive services and programs for which they may be eligible. Caregivers may apply for small grants from the Dementia Respite Program enabling them to have a period of respite from their caregiving responsibilities. Support services may also include coordination of support groups, caregiver trainings, and self-care informational bulletins and newsletters.

Separate courses are geared to different audiences: Mental Health First Aid is for adults, such as first responders, faith leaders, and caring adults; Youth Mental Health First Aid is for adults working with youth; and Teen Mental Health First Aid for high school students and youth-serving organizations.
