Partners with senior meal sites, senior centers, and restaurants to provide hot, nutritious, noontime meals. Home-delivered meals are often available for those who are unable to reach a meal site because of illness or frailty.

SEVCA’s Family Services team is often the first point of contact when crisis strikes. Meets people with empathy and practical tools, offering one-on-one problem-solving to meet urgent needs while planting seeds for long-term stability. Offers secondary school students the opportunity to earn up to 6 college credits while still enrolled in high school. Classes may be online or in-person.

Issues Firewood and Christmas tree Cutting Permits for use in Green Mountain National Forest. Also, through the Every Kid In A Park Program, a child's park pass can serve as a voucher for a free cut-your-own Christmas tree.

Sponsors a variety of peer-led support groups and programming through Health and Wellness, SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program, THRIVE for Queer & Trans People of Color, and the Transgender Program.

Offers weekly home visits of 2-3 hours for three consecutive months by trained volunteers to families with new babies. Provides support, health and safety information, practical assistance, and information about appropriate community resources. Practical assistance may include respite child care, transportation as available, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and errand running. Also serves expectant mothers on bed rest.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations.

Offers the services of Certified Recovery Coaches/Peer support specialist, who work both one-on-one with people on all paths to recovery to help them plan and make positive improvement in their lives, as well as with their families. Recovery Coaches also help guide people in recovery to finding resources such as detox and treatment, housing, food, heat, clothing, and transportation, and resources for improving relationships and getting connected with others in recovery with whom they can relate.

Provides rental assistance to help individuals live in safe and decent housing of their choice.

Provides screening, diagnostics, and treatment planning services for people who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric problems. Offers individual, group, conjoint (couples), and family counseling, therapy groups, medication and other mental health services for community residents, including those who have may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations.

Provides small, limited, community food services. Residents encouraged to take what they need and/or donate what they can in support of the pantry.
