Services may include outpatient services, respite care, therapeutic case management, school-based services and support, crisis residential services, child psychiatry, specialized foster care, and consultation. Also includes a text line for individuals who prefer not to call.

Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Provides onsite coordinated primary care, mental health services, and substance abuse services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Programs for health maintenance and public health awareness services are also offered.

Allows for discounted outings to local restaurants. Eligible individuals make a $5 donation to receive a ticket to dine at participating establishments.

Provides confidential support and information. 24-hour hotline. Survivor-directed services may include safety planning, emotional support, assistance in obtaining emergency relief from abuse orders, hospital emergency room support, assistance in finding emergency shelter, advocacy for legal, financial, medical, and housing issues, and community resource referrals.

Provides 50/50 matching grants of up to $20,000 to assist municipalities, non-profit organizations, and private owners in restoring and preserving historic buildings. Also administers 50/50 grants of up to $20,000 that are available for the restoration and repair of historic agricultural structures, including barns, and Certified Local Government (CLG) Grants of up to $10,000 toward local preservation projects. Also offers tax credits for historic commercial buildings and maintains an online list of other potential funding sources for historic preservation projects.

Outreach program for families with new babies to provide parents with information on community resources. Includes gift bags for all families with new babies.

Offers adult education and literacy instruction that provide learners with the opportunity to acquire the education and literacy skills they need either to complete a secondary education or to better achieve post-secondary/career goals. Instruction is provided at six learning centers, as well as at job sites, libraries, homes, and other locations. Services include the following: Functional Literacy Education (Reading, Writing, Math), Computer Literacy, Financial Literacy, English Language Learning and Citizenship Preparation, High School Completion Program, General Education Development (GED) Credentialing, and Career and College Readiness.

Provides screening, diagnostics, and treatment planning services for people who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric problems. Offers individual, group, conjoint (couples), and family counseling, therapy groups, medication and other mental health services for community residents, including those who have may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations.

Provides an annual parenting resource guide that provides information about child development, child safety, parenting skills, and lists regional and state resources for families.

Provides driver training information and issues ID (Non-driver) cards and Learner Permits. Provides school bus driver training information and administers scheduling for driver's license exams. Provides loans, financial products, and financial services to individuals for small businesses, nonprofit organizations, community facilities, early care and learning businesses, and affordable housing. Offers business development assistance services and support at no cost to borrowers and clients. Provides loans to community organizations and facilities that provide essential services and opportunities to Vermonters, including rural health centers, youth/family organizations, recreational centers, elder care facilities, arts organizations, preservation organizations, historical societies & other cultural organizations. Offer business advisory services and support at no cost to borrowers and clients.

Provides nurses and/or other trained professionals who visit the homes of women during pregnancy and after childbirth to help the women improve their personal health and development during the prenatal period and learn to care for their infant. Services include at-home assessments for expectant mothers and infants, postpartum assessments, newborn evaluations, breastfeeding support, nutrition education, parenting information, family adjustment support, skilled nursing care if needed, and assistance with coordination of family services.

Aids farmers and others who willingly house unowned cats in barns and other outbuildings, by trapping, vaccinating, spaying or neutering, and treating (if necessary), and then returning cat(s) back to their colony (group) in the wild or barn. Also offers a Working Cat program for cats who aren’t socialized enough or have other limitations for home adoption, to be placed for free in commercial or outbuilding environments where rodents are a problem. These cats are spayed/neutered and have at least rabies and distemper vaccinations. This non-traditional approach allows these cats to receive shelter, access to food and water, and the care they need while offering the service of expert rodent control to their adopters.

Provides low-cost or free health care for adults. Vermont Medicaid includes doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, vision, and some dental care. Also covers long-term care in a nursing home or at home, and physical therapy. Medicaid for the Aged, Blind, or Disabled (MABD) is also available. Assists Vermonters in enrolling in (and answers questions about) Medicaid and MABD. The member services line can help with filling out the application.
