Provides youth employment services that include vocational testing and assessment to help identify skills, talents and experience; career guidance to help plan and map out a career strategy; tutoring and study skills training; summer employment opportunities; paid work experience including internships and job shadowing; leadership development opportunities; and support services to help overcome employment barriers.

Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs.

Provides assistance in starting support groups for kinship caregivers, maintains list of groups for referrals for families, shares the list with community partners and the public, and holds a weekly online support group.

Provides comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services for women from puberty through the post-menopausal years. Services include well-woman exams, contraception, pregnancy and delivery services including midwifery services, pregnancy and childbirth education, as well as breastfeeding and post-partum support services. Services may also include menopausal and post-menopausal management services and urogynecology services.

Provides telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention services for individuals whose emotional distress may range in severity from difficulty in coping with daily stress to the crisis of a psychotic episode. Enhanced Mobile Crisis Services provide rapid mobile response for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis. A trained 2-person team can meet the individual at home, workplace, or another community setting, providing support and comfort including safety plans, peer support, care coordination and follow up and, if needed, temporary overnight accommodation.

Provides a portal through which Vermonters can apply for health insurance. Offers help in understanding and applying for health insurance. Helps small businesses enroll in group health plans.

Works in partnership with medical centers and school districts to bring fresh produce and other food and grocery products to community members who may not have easy access to good quality, affordable food and/or rural areas where residents must travel long distances to access grocery stores that sell fresh food. Deliveries to regional sites are made monthly to partnering schools and medical centers.

Provides funding through competitive grants to artists, organizations, and schools. Serves as a catalyst for individuals, activities, and projects that increase the visibility of the arts and leverage funding and other types of support from diverse sources.

Provides no cost, in home vaccinations to individuals who have difficulty getting to or using a community vaccination location.

Provides inventory information that helps individuals and organizations donate and exchange usable assistive technology products such as wheelchairs, walking aids, standing aids, toilet aids, and other daily living aids . Maintains a wish list of items that individuals are looking for and assists with coordination of pick-ups as the items become available.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations.

Provides mobile Community Outreach Specialists who work in partnership with local and regional law enforcement to respond to individuals with unmet social services needs, often due (but not limited to) to mental health or substance use issues.

Provides a safe, supervised place for teens and mentors to socialize after school. Activities offered include computers, video games, mentoring, and homework help. Special events are also planned throughout the year such as movie nights, picnics, and hiking.

Includes a thorough inspection of a home to pinpoint areas where energy loss is the greatest and provides the needed improvements. Works on reducing drafts, installing insulation, repairing heating systems, caulking, and improving indoor air quality.

Provides a public information campaign geared toward cultivating community and professional "gatekeepers" prepared to respond to suicide risk and warning signs. Provides Umatter professional development trainings for schools and communities, and leadership training for youth. Offers a website geared to youth to help themselves or someone else.

Provides a program that empowers Vermonters to lead healthier lives through hands-on nutrition education. The Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is usually a six-session series held in home, school, or community settings. An online nutrition education series, Eat Smart, Move More, is also offered and participants can access lessons at their own pace while receiving one-on-one support from their closest EFNEP Educator via phone calls, zoom meetings, and emails. Topics covered may include meal planning and preparation, food budgeting with a limited income, food safety and preservation, and nutrition tips.

Provides a way to report fraud and scams involving Social Security. Also provides information about how to protect against scams and identity theft.

Helps families with children by providing case management services that support work, training and education, and cash grants for basic necessities. Reach Up helps with identifying skills, abilities, interests, training or education needs, preparation for work, childcare costs, transportation costs, and work-related costs such as clothing, tools, and supplies. Each person on Reach Up works with a case manager to create a Family Development Plan. Benefits paid through direct deposit or EBT card. Child-Only Reach Up provides cash assistance to help eligible adults care for the minor, dependent children of relatives or family friends. Reach First helps families overcome temporary, short-term financial crises and avoid the need for longer-term assistance, providing case management, financial help, and support services. Reach Ahead helps families transition from Vermont's Reach Up or Post-Secondary Education (PSE) programs to working, with supports to help maintain a job, including cash incentives for working and help paying for car repairs, work clothes, and work supplies, a 100% childcare subsidy, and a cash benefit for food.

Supports the professional growth of nonprofit professionals by organizing certificate programs, webinars, convenings, and workshops. Provides a job resource board of staff openings at non-profits.

Provides outreach to victims of crime with community-based emotional support and resource navigation .Offers outreach to victims of low-level crimes for a restorative response. Victims in these cases are contacted and offered ways to participate in whatever way is comfortable for them. Offers options for victims to meet with those who have offended against them to ask questions and talk about the impact of the incident on themselves and others.

Provides a wide range of health and wellness, recreational, youth development and family development programs including classes, and recreational activities. Also provides age-appropriate fitness programs for seniors, child care services, leadership development opportunities, summer camps, and parent-child programs.

Offers a limited number of camperships to Camp Sebago.

Provides primary and preventive health care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of illness in children, adolescents and adults. Services include primary medical care such as physical health examinations, acute and chronic health screenings, obstetric care, laboratory testing, and birth control counseling. Provides onsite coordinated primary care, mental health services, and substance abuse services to enhance access to appropriate prevention, treatment, recovery and wellness services and activities. Offers coordination of transportation to medical appointments and wellness programs for patients. Programs for health maintenance and public health awareness services are also offered.

Provides a smartphone app (Transit) with real time route information and trip planning. The real time route information shows potentially available on-demand transportation options. Buses and/or volunteer drivers may be able to pick up users if driver's current location allows.
