Offers reparative panels as a form of community-sponsored probation that brings convicted offenders before a volunteer panel of citizens as part of their sentencing process. Panels work with victims and offenders to identify the harm caused by the crime and how that harm can be repaired while holding the offender responsible and accountable.

Offers adult education and literacy instruction that provide individuals with the opportunity to acquire the education and literacy skills they need either to complete a secondary education or to better achieve post-secondary/career goals. Instruction is provided at six learning centers, as well as at job sites, libraries, homes, and other locations. Services include Functional Literacy Education (Reading, Writing, Math), Computer Literacy, Financial Literacy, English Language Learning and Citizenship Preparation, High School Completion Program, General Education Development (GED) Credentialing, Career and College Readiness, and other certifications.

Offers lifelong, full spectrum pre-adoption and post-adoption services to birth parents, pre-adoptive and post-adoptive families, and adopted children of all ages.

Participants will have an opportunity to explore nature, learn about the environment, and be hands on with outdoor projects as a way to give back to the community.

Provides Work Incentives Counselors who can help individuals decide whether to work, keep necessary benefits while they work, and avoid work/benefits conflicts. The program is also available to youth in high school who are in transition to adult life. Youth and their families can receive accurate information about the impact of employment on all Federal and State benefits they receive. Provides the Vermont Work/Benefits Helpline.

Provides a an anonymous and confidential hotline where individuals will be connected to an operator who can stay on the phone while they use substances alone. An emergency safety plan decided by the individual and operator will be activated if needed.

Provides a victim assistance referral helpline, as well as information and helpful links to resources on crime and victimization. Offers materials on issues ranging from teen victims, survivors of violence against women, victims of stalking, crime victims considering a civil lawsuit, coping with trauma and grief, to provider trainings.

Provides online information about all public transit providers, commercial bus services, rail, and ferry services including service areas and telephone numbers. Offers direct links to the Burlington International Airport and the Southeastern Vermont Airport websites, to the Vermonter and Amtrak websites, and to the Lake Champlain Ferries website. Also provides a map of all airport locations in Vermont with links.

Provides weekly playgroups for families with young children. Snacks are provided. Playgroups are held in Brandon, Castleton, Mount Holly, and Rutland.

Partners with senior meal sites and senior centers to provide hot, nutritious, noontime meals. Home-delivered meals are often available for those who are unable to reach a meal site because of illness or frailty.

Provides scheduled long distance bus services from Colchester to Albany and Rensselaer, New York via Route 7 with stops in Burlington and South Burlington, Ferrisberg/Vergennes, Middlebury, Brandon, Rutland, Wallingford, Manchester Center, and Bennington.

Provides a full service, low-cost, family health and wellness facility with a gym where individuals can participate in organized fitness classes led by trained instructors and/or make use of a free weights area, Nautilus equipment, cardio equipment, an indoor tennis court and racquetball courts, as well as a lounge area with pool tables and pingpong for unstructured play and socializing.

Provides a year-round daytime drop-in center, as well as an overnight shelter, that provides case management, forms assistance, access to computers, and referrals. Food is available. Showers are available for any unsheltered individuals experiencing homelessness during daytime drop-in hours.
