Also handles complaints about mismanagement and fraud on the part of landlords or property managers of HUD-insured and HUD-subsidized housing.

Provides rescue services to dogs at risk, placing them in foster homes and ultimately connecting them to adoptive households. Offers education and training to individuals and families on behavior modification, pet care, and pet owner responsibilities. Also provides volunteer opportunities, including fostering. Does not provide a shelter; rescued animals are fostered in private homes. Offers a Senior to Senior Program matching older adults with older dogs.

Head Start (ages 3-5) and Early Head Start (ages 0-3) provide high-quality education, healthy meals, medical and dental screenings, and holistic support for the entire family to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. Head Start also connects families to social services and resources for housing, employment, education, food, health, mental health counseling, substance use disorder, domestic violence, English as a Secondary Language, and other family needs. Space is reserved for children with special needs (hearing, speech, vision impairment, emotional or physical challenges). Families with foster children are automatically eligible. A limited number of families that exceed the income guidelines can enroll.

Provides community food shelf services. Personal care items may be available depending on donations. Also provides a bag of Thanksgiving supplies. Delivery may be available upon request.

Provides new and/or used clothing and household goods. Also provides free clothing to families in need.

Provides a way to report a lost or stolen passport. A separate process is required to get a replacement passport.

Provides shelter for animals who have been abandoned, abused or surrendered by their owners. Services include animal adoption, pet food pantry, spay/neuter services, community education about pet care, and reporting of cruelty and neglect of animals to local authorities.

Provides information about poison emergencies, as well as information about poisons and poison prevention, medication information for older adults, substance abuse information and other drug-related information, and poison information for pets. Also provides educational programs and materials including animals poison and work place safety for poison control.

Provides flexibly scheduled and routed door-to-door (or curb-to-curb) transportation services. Coordinates and provides non-emergency medical transportation to health and wellness appointments, including for individuals who do not qualify for Medicaid or Senior Rides transportation programs. Offers transportation for individuals with mental health concerns and/or substance use disorder to support groups, job training and access, recovery centers, drug testing, and other services. Provides opportunities for volunteer drivers.

Provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment services for speech, language, fluency, voice, social language, cognition, foreign accent modification, and gender aligning voice for individuals of all ages. Speech and language consultations are offered for public and private schools, early essential education and early childhood development programs.
