Reach Up helps with identifying skills, abilities, interests, training or education needs, preparation for work, childcare costs, transportation costs, and work-related costs such as clothing, tools, and supplies. Each person on Reach Up works with a case manager to create a Family Development Plan. Benefits paid through direct deposit or EBT card. Child-Only Reach Up provides cash assistance to help eligible adults care for the minor, dependent children of relatives or family friends. Reach First helps families overcome temporary, short-term financial crises and avoid the need for longer-term assistance, providing case management, financial help, and support services. Reach Ahead helps families transition from Vermont's Reach Up or Post-Secondary Education (PSE) programs to working, with supports to help maintain a job, including cash incentives for working and help paying for car repairs, work clothes, and work supplies, a 100% childcare subsidy, and a cash benefit for food.

When possible, offers financial "house parties" for members of specific immigrant communities, hosted by a participant and facilitated by CVOEO Community Ambassadors trained in financial education who speak the same language. Topics include banking in the US, building credit scores, budgeting, microbusiness development, buying a house or car, and more. Community Ambassadors also provide interpretation for 1:1 financial coaching appointments and offer support for traditional credit and budgeting classes as well. Also available are culturally responsive classes that go into greater depth on saving, home ownership as an asset, and starting and sustaining small businesses. Also offers talkline for help to learn how to get help with food, housing, renters’ rights, and more.

Provides, in conjunction with the American Academy of Pediatrics, online information and recommendations for how to keep newborns healthy and safe. Also provides a pregnancy timeline of tips developed by pediatricians to help keep both the unborn child and the newborn safe and healthy.

Provides victims of sexual assault with access to a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) and, if they wish, a Victim Advocate. SARCs and Advocates are not counselors or licensed clinicians, but are a confidential resource specialists. SARCs and Advocates will explain military reporting options available to the victim and connect them to appropriate medical, behavioral health, legal, spiritual, and financial resources available through the military.

Provides communities and individuals with information and resources about substance use prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery.

Provides intensive inpatient and outpatient medical services to treat specific traumatic injuries generally incurred in or around combat. Amputee rehabilitation, brain trauma, case care management, and physical therapy are all included in the medical services.

Provides assistive technology (AT) device demonstrations, trainings, as well as information and assistance regarding AT devices and services, funding resources, and other disability-related topics. People can check out loans online, and have the item mailed to them. The program also offers public awareness via informational displays and equipment demonstrations at outreach events, and technical assistance regarding AT to agencies and programs.

Provides temporary emergency shelter, along with supportive services that include searching for housing and employment, help with budgeting skills, connecting with appropriate state agencies, and transportation to meetings.

Offers playgroups designed specifically to allow fathers and masculine-identifying caregivers to connect with one another while engaging in healthy play with their children. Groups have met at local playgrounds, coffee shops, the Winooski Family Center, and Fletcher Free library.

Also provides dental referral for veterans. Members of the outreach team can meet with veterans and families at home, at work, or any place in the community.

Provides funding which includes assistance for utility shut-offs, security deposits, back rent, fuel assistance, car repairs for vehicles needed for work and/or medical appointments and livability-related home repairs for veterans who are homeowners. Other services include individual advocacy, information about other service providers, connecting combat veterans with PTSD to services, as well as helping to obtain a service animal.

Also provides the Rent Right Program, designed to provide participants with the skills, materials, and confidence necessary to find and maintain stable housing. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a Preferred Renter Certificate, which shows landlords that they have made an investment into being a good tenant.

Provides health care services at all community outpatient clinics. Homebound Veterans are served by Home Based Primary Care (HBPC). Additional services can include basic nursing services, telemedicine, patient advocacy, hospice care, and physical, occupational, or speech therapies through a Skilled Home Care service.

Provides a therapeutic living environment in community-based facilities for children and youth who have emotional and/or behavioral problems and require a structured, supervised educational/treatment program.
