This service offers an immediate intervention and suicide prevention response by mental health counselors and connects individuals to resources that best fit the needs of their particular situations. Within the First Call program there are specialized services such as crisis case management, crisis respite, support services when a tragic event impacts a child, as well as Safety Net, an urgent response service for families impacted by incarceration. First Call also provides education, support, and "Gatekeeper Training" to community providers to promote prompt and appropriate response to mental health crises.
