Senator Sanders' office provides casework and answers questions from constituents about federal agencies, Social Security benefits, veterans benefits, passports and visas. Assists constituents with service academy nominations, and federal grant searches. Assists constituents who are having trouble solving a problem with a federal program or agency. Assistance may include helping understand what is involved, inquiring about the status of a case, encouraging an agency to give a case full and fair consideration, and when appropriate, advocating for speedier resolution.
