Home environments are "family-style" where residents support one another in their recovery and cooperate to manage the household.

Vermont Foundation of Recovery is a non-profit organization operating recovery homes for Vermonters suffering from substance misuse disorders. Services provided within the recovery home setting help individuals transition from addiction to recovery, then to independent living and re assimilation in society.
