Unemployment Insurance: Individuals who have worked in Vermont in the previous eighteen months and who are unemployed or had employment hours reduced through no fault of their own, MAY be eligible

Service area

Vermont state

Provides partial wage replacement to eligible unemployed workers. Also offers the Domestic and Sexual Violence Survivors' Transition Program, a special benefit program for individuals who have been forced to leave their employment due to domestic or sexual violence, including stalking. If an individual is disqualified for unemployment benefits, it provides temporary partial wage replacement if they had to leave employment for those reasons.
