La Leche League of Massachusetts / Rhode Island / Vermont (LLLMARIVT) is part of La Leche League International (LLLI), a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing parent-to-parent support, encouragement, information, and education to parents who choose to breastfeed, chestfeed, or human milk feed their children, and to promote a promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and parent. La Leche League Leaders are volunteers who have breastfed their own children and have been trained and accredited by LLLI.
