Provides a course designed to empower parents and caregivers of youths with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate the challenges of supporting a young person with a mental health condition. The course features workshops, presentations, discussions, and interactive elements, allowing participants to forge connections with others in the class and develop essential skills. Basics is led by two trained NAMI Vermont volunteers who have lived experience supporting a young person with a mental health condition.
