They accept referrals from crisis teams and designated agencies who have determined that a child meets criteria for inpatient psychiatric care.

Brattleboro Retreat is a nonprofit mental health and addiction treatment center serving Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Services include provision of adult and adolescent outpatient care, inpatient care, partial hospitalization program, residential programs,family support services, and provision of public education/information strategies for prevention and early intervention.
