Services may include outpatient services, respite care, therapeutic case management, school-based services and support, crisis residential services, child psychiatry, specialized foster care, and consultation. Also offers trauma-informed parent support groups.

Howard Center is is the designated agency for Chittenden County. It provides acute and long-term care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and other mental health issues, substance use disorders, and/or developmental challenges. Services include emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents, and their families; substance use disorder treatment services in Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle Counties; alternative education programs; and community-based developmental services.
