Assists youth who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis. As a community alternative to psychiatric hospitalization, provides crisis stabilization, comprehensive clinical assessment, individual and family treatment, and discharge planning in a residential, staff secure facility.

NFI Vermont (Northeastern Family Institute Vermont) is a private, non-profit, Specialized Service Agency (SSA) within the Vermont statewide mental health system. With a focus on healing, it is grounded in trauma-informed care. NFI VT serves individuals, youth and their families, coping with the challenges of severe trauma, emotional disturbances and/or intense dysregulation across settings.
