Offers a free career skills and academic training program in the following areas: Welding and Advanced Welding, Auto Technology, Certified Medical Assisting, Culinary Arts, Building Construction Technology, Office Administration, and Urban Forestry. Participants may choose residential or non-residential living. Students also have the opportunity to get their high school diploma or a GED, drivers license, and attend English as a Second Language instruction. After Northlands Job Corps Center, students can enroll in the military, go to college or advanced training, get a job enter a paid apprenticeship. Transition services for any of the options is provided.
