Provides assessment and treatment for opiate addiction. Services include screening intake, assessment, treatment planning, medically supervised withdrawal, counseling services, case management and referral, medical services, discharge planning and follow-up. Also provides harm reduction kits that include Narcan, Fentanyl test strips, and CPR mouth shield.

United Counseling Services is the designated community mental health agency for Bennington County under contract with Vermont Department of Mental Health Mental Health Services to provide acute and long-term behavioral health care services to people with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and other mental health problems. UCS provides behavioral health care services and substance abuse treatment, including emergency and crisis intervention services for adults, children, adolescents and their families.
