Provides tax information and assistance with tax filing preparation and e-filing of federal and state income tax returns, as well as assistance with filing for renters' rebates and homestead declarations at three locations. Also provides services for those filing basic self-employment returns (sole proprietors who do not carry inventory or depreciation).

Capstone Community Action is a regional community action agency that provides a continuum of case management services, advocacy and assistance to help move families, in over 56 towns located primarily in Washington, Lamoille and Orange Counties, from anti-poverty to self-sufficiency. Programs and services include case management and advocacy, Early Head Start/Head Start, food programs, homelessness prevention, transportation assistance, emergency fuel assistance, weatherization information and assistance, small business development, individual development accounts, and tax preparation assistance.
