Provides programs that help individiuals to remain in their homes and connected to the community. Services may include transportation to medical appointments, shopping, friendly visits and reassurance calls, chores and yard work, and homemaker assistance. Also provides medical equipment loans, as well as a modest home heating assistance fund.

Westminster Cares is a non-profit, volunteer, community service organization that offers services and resources to residents of Westminster and surrounding towns that support independent living at home for as long as possible. Services may include medical transportation, friendly visiting, wellness and fall prevention programs, an assistive technology loan closet and homemaker assistance. A modest heating and utility assistance fund is also available. Westminster Cares attempts to serve those individuals whose needs might not be met by other service agencies.
