Supports the successful re-entry into the community of people released from incarceration through Circles of Support and Accountability (COSAs). COSAs are made up of citizen volunteers who work with participants to help them learn to manage the challenges of everyday life, be accountable for their actions and become responsible community members. Volunteer coordinators may help establish links to employment, housing, transportation, and benefit programs.

CENTER FOR RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
Center for Restorative Justice (CRJ) is a non-profit restorative justice organization that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict in Bennington County. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through alternatives to the formal court process and through intervention services using restorative justice practices. Programs include Court Diversion, Driving with License Suspension (DLS) Diversion Program, Youth Substance Abuse Safety Program (YSASP), school based programs, Restorative Alternative Program (RAP), Reparative Programs, Community Reentry Programs, Afterschool Mentoring Programs, Threads, and other restorative justice programs.
