Provides low-interest rehabilitation loans to make essential repairs on homes in order to eliminate health, safety and/or accessibility issues. Home repair assistance also may include technical support, home maintenance workshops, special grants, home inspection, assistance in creating job specifications and finding estimates, and ongoing project support.

Downstreet Housing and Community Development is a non-profit affordable housing developer and service provider that serves low-income and moderate-income residents of Washington, Orange and Lamoille Counties by providing affordable housing opportunities. The organization operates the Homeownership Center of Central Vermont, which serves Washington, Orange and Lamoille Counties through building, rehabilitating, leasing, and managing properties, while supporting residents with information, education, counseling, and access to resources for ownership and home repairs.
