Assists individuals with regaining their licenses while they are paying off fines and fees. Program participants work with diversion staff to develop contracts that include a payment plan. Contracts must be approved by the Vermont Judicial Board and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Newport Community and Social Justice Center, a department of NEKCA, is a non-profit restorative justice program that works with citizens, local and state government, and law enforcement agencies to provide restorative responses to crime and conflict for Orleans and Northern Essex Counties. Programs promote restorative practices by increasing community involvement in finding solutions to crime through Reparative Panels, Court Diversion, Conflict Assistance, Community Dialogue, Education and Crime Prevention, as well as Victim Support Services.
