Service area

Vermont state

Provides individuals who qualify with legal interpretation and "translation" support for court proceedings, including divorce, custody, child support, relief from abuse, eviction, small claims, probate/guardianship, Children in Need of Supervision (CHINS), and Termination of Parental Rights (TPR). Also provides interpretation and explanation for Vermont administrative proceedings, such as 3SquaresVT or Medicaid appeals.

Disability Rights Vermont is a statewide nonprofit organization that defends and advances the rights of individuals with disabilities. Services include free and confidential information and referral, advocacy, investigation of abuse and neglect, legal representation in select cases, assistance with Advance Directives, support for voters with disabilities, help addressing employment barriers for Social Security beneficiaries, and advocacy for crime victims with disabilities.
