Provides trained volunteers who offer non-medical assistance to hospice patients and their families. Assistance includes companionship, personal care, assistance with daily living, transportation. Additional services include provision of vigil sitters who provide a loving presence during the last days of life, respite for caregivers, and bereavement follow-up support.

CENTER FOR SOLACE
Center for Solace, formerly Brattleboro Brattleboro Area Hospice, is a non-profit organization that provides non-medical hospice care services for terminally ill individuals and their loved ones. Related hospice services include bereavement services to both hospice families and the community, as well as community education about issues of death and dying. They serve southern Windham County and the towns of Hinsdale and West Chesterfield in New Hampshire.
